All About Philippines

With all its grandeur and magnificence, the Pearl of the Orient Seas lays claim to its naturally abundant environment with beautiful beaches and enthralling panoramic sights. In the past few decades the Philippines have been frequented by tourists for countless reasons.

Tourists all over the world swarm over the warm beaches braided with the fine remnants of corals and seashells. You can see people frolicking in the beckoning blue seawater during a summer day. The archipelago is also famed for its diving spots and beautiful coral reefs. Another thing that people enjoy in this area is the tropical temperature which ranges from 24 C to 31 C.

The Philippine sunset is one of the most breathtaking views one could ever see. You would love to feel that fleeting bliss when you see the sky tinted with scarlet, the scarcely diffused light of the setting sun as twilight unfolds.

Another good thing about visiting the country is that Filipinos are fluent English speakers. For a very long time after the Second World War, there was a large American presence in the Philippines and to this day around 90% of the people speak English. So if tourists ever ask for directions, they can easily be guided by the local inhabitants. Also, Filipinos are hospitable people who love to serve visitors, both foreign and local alike.

A visit to the Philippines can be much more than just fun since you can visit lots of interesting places without spending too much money. With the dollar-peso exchange rates, your budget will go a lot further in the Philippines than you think. (A McDonald's burger would only cost around $0.50 in this country). Accommodations in the country are not very expensive and in addition to this are cheap goods that tourists find amazing.

There are way too many good reasons to visit the Philippines. Colorful celebrations of different festivals around the archipelago are celebrated throughout the year which makes the visit of tourists more exciting. Street dances and plays depicting the country's flourishing culture and history are some of the activities which entertain tourists. (Also, various ethnic groups in the country offer a diverse culture that would surely interest people around the globe.)

A lot of tourists believe they have been fortunate to have stayed in this tropical country, enjoying all the accessibility and mobility of a first world country without the hassles. The archipelago is a paradise that people have been wishing for. Some tourists have even decided to settle and stay in the country for they believe that it is a great place to spend their retirement years.

Every year, millions of tourists come to the country and experience its beauty. Some left the country with beautiful memories to cherish and some chose to stay for they believe that the country is the most beautiful place they could ever lay their eyes on.
